Bachelor''s degree in Communication Disorders, or AAS Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology Assistant program POSITION SUMMARY: Implement treatment/intervention plans, record students'' status, perform various clerical tasks, discuss students'' treatment plans, support informal assessment of students and conduct screenings. This position works under the direction of the certified Speech Language Pathologist and participates in educational facility activities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: ? Provide direct service in articulation, stuttering and language under the supervision of a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) ? Develop lesson plans for providing service ? Prepare progress reports and day-to-day documentation for student service ? Draft present levels of performance for review by SLP ? Draft skill ideas to work on for review by SLP ? Prepare materials and visuals for speech services provided to students ? Assist with transitioning skills into general education settings ? Assist with interventions established by the SLP ? Schedule student sessions ? Other duties as assigned PHYSICAL FACTORS: ? QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Required
