Elementary Title I Teacher (K-5)
Crookston Public Schools is seeking a dedicated, student-centered Elementary Title I Teacher to join our team. This position provides targeted reading and/or mathematics intervention services for students in grades K-5, working collaboratively with classroom teachers, specialists, and families to ensure every student has the opportunity to succeed.
The ideal candidate is passionate about supporting diverse learners, uses data to drive instruction, and is committed to building positive relationships that promote student growth and achievement.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based Title I intervention services to eligible students in grades K-5.
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated instruction aligned with Minnesota Academic Standards.
- Use assessment data to identify student needs, monitor progress, and adjust instruction accordingly.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, instructional coaches, and administrators to support student success.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and Title I documentation.
- Communicate effectively with families regarding student growth and intervention services.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Participate in professional learning, staff meetings, and district initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Valid Minnesota Elementary teaching license issued through the Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB).
- Strong knowledge of literacy and mathematics instructional practices and interventions.
- Experience with data-driven instruction and progress monitoring is preferred.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to meeting the needs of all learners and supporting student achievement.
