Position Summary: Under the direction of the Director of Food & Nutrition Services and guidance of the Lead Cook, the Food Service Assistant is responsible for providing routine food service duties including organizing and setting up serving areas, serving customer meals using proper portion sizes, restocking serving lines during service, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and providing excellent customer service. Schedule: School Days, 10:30am-1:30pm Salary & Benefits: $17.80 per hour, paid personal leave and sick days, uniform reimbursement. No evenings, weekends, or holidays! A great fit for caregivers to get kids on and off the bus and work a couple of hours in between! Requirements/Licensure: Prior experience in food services or school nutrition is desirable, but we are willing to train the right fit.
