Special Ed Paraprofessional Nevis Public Schools Independent School District308 Nevis, MN 56467 NON-EXEMPT POSITION Hourly Pay 17.84 Schedule: 8:00am- 3:15pm with a 30minute duty free lunch included. (Hours subject to change as needed) IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: PRINCIPAL AND TEACHERS REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of a 2 year degree and/or completion of 60 college credits passing of state para pro test. Duties may include: 1. Assist instructional personnel with the development and presentation of learning materials and instructional exercises. 2. Tutor students individually or in small groups to reinforce and follow-up learning activity as determined by your supervisor. 3. Supervise students as required and under the guidance of teachers. 4. Perform a variety of regular clerical and light custodial duties. 5. Maintain student records, attendance and files under the guidance of teachers. 6. Operate a variety of instructional media, office machines and equipment. 7. Assist with the personal needs of students. 8. Transport students as assigned by teachers or principal. 9.
