Job Description:
Parnassus Preparatory School is currently accepting applications for a full-time English teacher (for the 2026-2027 school year). Full-time (1.00 FTE)

This position plays a pivotal role in developing students'' abilities to read, write, speak, and think critically. Teachers are committed to fostering a deep understanding of literature, language, and composition, all while exploring classic novels such as The Good Earth and The Children''s Homer.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Bachelor''s degree in a relevant field
- An appropriate MN teaching license is required
- Ability and willingness to teach the classical trivium and sequence model as defined by the school
- The ability to speak and write clearly and effectively
- Conviction in the values of a rigorous liberal arts education
- Ability to maintain an orderly classroom
Preferred Qualifications:
- Teaching experience preferred but not required
- An appropriate MN teaching license is preferred but not required
- Tier 3 or 4 License preferred but not required
Compensation:
Pay range: $45,150 – $81,375
