Rochester Arts & Sciences Academy (RASA) is looking for an enthusiastic, student-centered Foreign Language Teacher to join our team. We''re seeking an educator who can inspire a love of language learning while helping students develop the communication skills and global mindset needed to thrive in an interconnected world.
While we are looking to expand our world language program, we are open to a variety of languages. We are seeking the best educator first and are flexible in determining which language will be offered based on the strengths and expertise of the successful candidate. Whether your background is in Spanish, French, German, Mandarin, American Sign Language, or another world language, we''d love to connect and explore how you could help shape our program.

Rochester Arts & Sciences Academy is a public charter school serving students from Preschool through 8th grade. As an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and developing the Middle Years Programme (MYP), we believe students learn best through inquiry, collaboration, creativity, and authentic learning experiences.

What You''ll Do
As a Foreign Language Teacher, you will:
Create engaging, interactive language learning experiences that build confidence and curiosity.
Foster an appreciation for diverse cultures and global perspectives.
Build strong relationships with students and families.
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of learners at varying levels.
Collaborate with an outstanding team of educators to integrate language learning across the curriculum.
Create a positive classroom culture built on respect, kindness, and high expectations.
Encourage students to communicate, collaborate, and take risks as language learners.
Participate in school events, professional learning, and our collaborative school culture.
