ELEMENTARY TEACHER ~ ALMA SCHOOL DISTRICT The Alma School District is accepting applications for a full time Elementary Teacher. This posting is currently for a 3rd grade teaching position and ( 3-5 ELA departmentalization). Qualifications: Valid elementary teaching license issued by the WI Department of Education (Reading Specialist (1316) issued by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction preferred, or a demonstrated background in evidence-based reading instruction Ability to design and execute comprehensive lesson plans for 3-5 ELA core curriculum aligned with Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction state standards Delivery of engaging, standards-aligned instruction in core subject areas, adapting strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and academic abilities Ability to utilize both formative and summative assessments to evaluate student performance, leveraging data to drive targeted interventions and foster measurable learning outcomes in ELA One who maintains strong, proactive communication with parents, staff, and community members to build a collaborative support network for student success Ability to create and implement innovative learning opportunities and interactive projects to inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and active student engagement Excellent organizational skills, as well as oral and written communication skills Willingness to explore and create new opportunities for students Extra-curricular opportunities may be available.
