The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in both Somali and Arabic languages, fostering students'' language proficiency, and creating an engaging learning environment that supports academic excellence and personal growth. Key Responsibilities Teach Somali and Arabic language courses to secondary school students. Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with the school''s curriculum. Assess, monitor, and evaluate students'' academic progress through assignments, tests, and examinations. Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment. Encourage students to develop strong reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in both Somali and Arabic. Maintain accurate student records, attendance, and assessment reports. Participate in staff meetings, professional development activities, and school events. Communicate effectively with parents and school administration regarding student progress. Support extracurricular activities related to language and cultural education when required. Qualifications and Requirements Bachelor''s degree in Education, Somali Language, Arabic Language, or a related field. Fluent in both Somali and Arabic (spoken and written). Minimum of 1 years of teaching experience at the secondary school level or equivalent. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Excellent lesson planning and student assessment abilities. Ability to motivate and inspire students from diverse backgrounds. Proficiency in using modern teaching methods and educational technology is an advantage. Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and commitment to student success. Preferred Qualifications Valid teaching certification or teaching license. Experience teaching both Somali and Arabic curricula. Strong organizational, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
