Responsibilities: Teachers will be responsible for planning and implementing standards-based lesson plans, classroom management, parent communication, team collaboration and other duties as necessary. Some weekend and evening teaching required. Benefits: Bloomington Public Schools offers a variety of benefits to help take care of employees'' health and well-being. These benefits include: Health & Dental Insurance: Employees can choose from health and dental plans to help cover medical and dental needs for themselves and their families. Employee only coverage for Health insurance is $0 per paycheck. The District also contributes to an HSA account to help cover medical expenses. Life Insurance and Disability Insurance: Employees get free life insurance, which provides money to their family if something happens to them while employed with the district. Additionally, your spouse and dependent children to age twenty-six are also covered. There is also LTD insurance to help if they can''t work due to illness or injury for an extended period of time.
