Position : Internal Substitute Teacher 1.0 FTE School Year : 2026?2027 About Nasha Shkola Charter School: Nasha Shkola Charter School is a small K?8 public charter school located in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. Our mission is to provide a strong academic foundation while fostering multilingualism, multicultural understanding, and appreciation of the Russian language and Slavic heritage. More than 90% of our students are multilingual learners. Nasha Shkola is not a language immersion school. Core academic instruction is delivered in English using evidence-based curricula aligned with Minnesota standards. Students also receive daily instruction in Russian language and culture as part of our unique heritage-focused educational program. Responsibilities Serve as the school''s building substitute, providing instruction in assigned classrooms during teacher absences. When not substituting, provide reading and math intervention and academic support to individual students and small groups. Maintain a safe, positive, and productive learning environment while following school routines and expectations. Adapt instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners. Collaborate with classroom teachers, intervention staff, and administrators to support student success. Supervise students during lunch, recess, arrival, dismissal, and other assigned duties. Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events. Perform other duties as assigned by the School Administration Qualifications Applicants must hold or be eligible to obtain a Minnesota Elementary Education teaching license. Experience working as a substitute teacher in K-8 grades is highly preferred How to Apply.
