The Carlton-Wrenshall School District (ISD 2918) has a 1.0 FTE Special Education Teacher position available for immediate placement. Job Qualifications: · Valid MN teaching license in Learning Disabilities (LD) or Academic Behavior Strategist (ABS) or other cross categorical special education teaching license. · Must demonstrate continued professional development through coursework, research, and peer collaboration. · Knowledge of the core curriculum areas the teacher is responsible for instructing. · Knowledge of students? learning styles and needs. · Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. · Ability to plan and implement lessons based upon school district goals and objectives and the needs and abilities of students to whom assigned. · Ability to provide appropriate instruction in core subjects. · Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others. · Knowledge and implementation of relevant technology. Salary: The salary for this position will be in accordance with the salary schedule in the Education Minnesota-Wrenshall Teacher?s Master Agreement.
