The District consists of five buildings, all situated on a single, cohesive campus and serves approximately 2,800 students - Early Education Building, Primary School (K-2), Intermediate School (3-5), Middle School (6-8), and High School (9-12). Becker''s mission is to develop self-directed learners to thrive in a changing global community. Position Summary: Becker High School is seeking a strong, dedicated, curious social studies educator to teach predominantly history courses. This teacher will be able to recognize opportunities to make a meaningful connection between the state standards and student learning opportunities. This teacher will have a familiarity with implementing the Minnesota social studies standards. This teacher will collaborate with a social studies team to provide real world student experiences, develop and administer common assessments, and continue to analyze and implement state standards. Adaptive Instructional Leader: A teacher who utilizes various pedagogical strategies to meet the unique needs of all learners, ensuring that lessons are both accessible and intellectually challenging.
