Description:
The Shakopee School District is seeking a 1.0 FTE Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Long term substitute (LTS). Tentative assignment dates October 2026 through mid February 2027.
The BCBA is a part of an E-12 district wide Special Services Student Support Team. This team will work in conjunction with Teachers, Administrators, Paraeducators and students to support the behavior and social emotional needs of Special Education programs.
Job Summary:
- Provide professional development and coaching to Special Education Case Managers and Paraeducators
- Develop interventions and strategies to support students
- Assist in program development and consultation
- Support student data collection to guide positive behavior plan development
- Provide supervision, training, and support to district student support specialists
- Conduct analyses of student behaviors
Qualifications:
- BCBA Certification
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Ability to build successful relationships with students, parents and staff
Compensation Package:
- Annual salary: $50,000–$90,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Salary will be prorated based on the assignment duration.
