POSITION DETAILS Position: Head Girls Soccer Coach Grade: 6-8 Start Date: Practices begin September 8, 2026 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Be at least 18 years of age. Exhibit knowledge of the sport/activity. Past experience working with Elementary/Middle school children. Pass STRIDE Academy School District background check. Adhere to all laws of the State of Minnesota in regard to conduct between a teacher (coach/advisor) and student (athlete/participant). Ability to teach leadership, sportsmanship, respect, skills, and healthy living. Be a mentor and example to athletes/participants. Promote academics first. Provide the best opportunity possible for each student?s success. Ability to work with other coaches, advisors, parents, volunteers, officials, and administrators in a professional and courteous manner. Have a valid email address and the ability to check it on a daily basis. Maintain a valid CPR/First Aid card. Adhere and monitor student code of responsibilities. Previous coaching/advising experience preferred, but not required. Ability to commit to the practice and game schedules: -Practice begins September 8, 2026 -September 15, home 5pm -September 24, Paynesville 5pm -October 1, St Joseph 4pm -October 6, home 4pm -October 12, St Cloud 4pm Head Coaches/Advisors report to the Activities Director. Head Coaches/Advisors are responsible for the supervision of Assistants/Volunteers (paid and unpaid) in their sport/activity in conjunction with the Activities Director.
