Job Summary:
The American Indian Education Coordinator coordinates activities and services funded through the American Indian Parent Advisory Committee (AIPAC) grant to support the academic success, cultural identity, and engagement of American Indian students and their families.
Duties:
Responsible for overseeing and and organizing academic and cultural activities identified in the American Indian Parent Advisory Committee (AIPAC) grant, specifically:
- Coordinate and implement academic and cultural activities outlined in the American Indian Parent Advisory Committee (AIPAC) grant.
- Build positive relationships with American Indian students and families through ongoing outreach and engagement.
- Collaborate with tribal nations, community organizations, and other partners to strengthen educational opportunities and student support.
- Promote cultural awareness and understanding among students, staff, and the broader school community.
- Plan, organize, and facilitate monthly AIPAC meetings, including preparing agendas, communicating with members, and maintaining meeting records.
- Manage the AIPAC grant budget and ensure expenditures align with grant requirements.
- Assist with grant reporting, documentation, and program evaluation as required.
- Support district efforts to improve educational outcomes and foster an inclusive learning environment for American Indian students.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Pay: $22/hour
