Start Your Online Application Now Date of Availability: 09/01/2026 POSITION : Elementary Float Teacher JOB DESCRIPTION : Onamia Schools is seeking a dynamic and highly energetic full time Elementary Float Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Qualified candidates should have a strong background in equity/diversity, and meeting the needs of unique learners. Successful candidates should also be creative and have both good communication and problem solving skills. The Float Teacher will provide instruction and carry out teacher lesson plans. This person will organize students for effective instruction and learning while maintaining classroom management that fosters a safe and positive environment for all students. Candidate motivates student learning and academic participation while ensuring the integrity of academic time. The Float Teacher will perform other duties as assigned by the School Principal. The Onamia School District is located along the south shore of beautiful Lake Mille Lacs and is one and a half hours north of Minneapolis on Highway 169.
