Eagle Ridge Academy seeks a well-spoken individual with a gift for elementary school teaching who is passionate about the mission, philosophy, and pedagogy of Eagle Ridge Academy. Qualified applicants will have the ability to develop positive rapport with students, parents, and colleagues. They will have knowledge of particular learning styles along with the skill to meet the academic, social, and emotional growth needs of elementary-aged children. Eagle Ridge Academy - Brooklyn Center Educational Assistant - part-time positions - approximately 2 hours per school day Responsibilities: The main purpose of this position is supervising students during lunch and recess daily. It will be be approximately 2 hours per day. Supervise students during lunch and recess . Potential other duties: Assist with educational activities in the classroom Prepare instructional aids, games, and bulletin boards, as needed for classroom teacher on occasion Provide teacher with feedback on student progress Perform various administrative tasks within the classroom on occasion Reinforce and support students in upholding behavioral expectations Support academic ad social growth of students in individual or small group settings Responds to student situations for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns Administers tests, homework, make-up work, etc. for the purpose of supporting students in the classroom Collaborates with teacher(s) or other staff as assigned for the purpose of communicating information, resolving issues Other duties, as assigned Pay Rate: $17.05-$21.39 (DOQ and experience) Benefits: Not benefit eligible, PERA pension By joining the faculty of Eagle Ridge Academy, you will become part of a community that embraces liberal arts education, believes in continual growth and education for its professionals, and supports collaboration in learning for students and teachers.
