Assignment: Media Center Supervisor Salary Range: $18.26 Closing Date: Open until filled Start Date: August 2026 Position Summary West Central Area Schools is seeking a Media Center Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our school media center and support student learning through instruction, technology, and independent study supervision. Key Responsibilities Manage all aspects of the library/media center, including inventory, ordering, and cataloging Teach library skills, digital literacy, and research skills to 5th and 6th grade students Introduce students to authors and books to foster a love of reading Supervise eCHS (online/independent study) students, monitoring academic progress and managing day-to-day student needs Work closely with the school counselor to support eCHS student success Coordinate and manage substitute teacher scheduling and placement Maintain a welcoming, organized, and well-resourced media center environment Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate library and research resources into curriculum Qualifications Strong organizational and multitasking skills Experience working with students in a supervisory or instructional capacity Strong interpersonal and communication skills Comfort with digital literacy tools and educational technology To Apply Interested candidates should send a resume, cover letter, and references to Principal Nate Wood at nwood@isd2342.org .
