Vermilion Country School is hiring a full-time Interdisciplinary Math/Science Teacher at our Tower Campus. VCS is a project-based, advisory-centered charter school operating within the EdVisions Cooperative model, where students pursue self-directed, real-world projects integrating multiple disciplines rather than following a traditional lecture-based curriculum. Position Summary The Interdisciplinary Math/Science Teacher will design and facilitate project-based learning experiences that integrate math and science content, guide students through personalized academic planning, and serve as an advisor supporting students'' academic and personal growth. This position works closely with colleagues across disciplines to build cross-curricular projects connected to real-world applications. Responsibilities Design and facilitate project-based learning that integrates math and science standards Advise a small group of students, supporting academic planning and personal growth Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects connecting math, science, and other subject areas Assess student progress against state academic standards using project-based and competency-based methods Support a student-centered, self-directed learning environment consistent with VCS''s educational model Participate in ongoing professional development and school community life Qualifications Valid Minnesota teaching license in Mathematics, Science, or a related field preferred Candidates holding a Bachelor''s degree (BA/BS) without current licensure are encouraged to apply ?
