Job Summary: Under the direction of the Building Principal, the Licensed School Social Worker or Academic Support Professional provides direct and indirect social work services to students experiencing social, emotional and/or behavioral problems that interfere with their performance in school, and facilitates communication among school, home and community providers. Duties to include family outreach, social work, SEL, academic interventions, facilitation of Restorative Circles and college and career readiness work. Social Work license or School Counselor certificate or related 4-year degree is preferred but not required.
