August 17, 2026 Willmar Public Schools is currently seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Girls Swimming and Diving Coach. A Coach is responsible for overseeing the development and success of student-athletes or participants in a specific athletic or activity program. This role includes planning and conducting practice sessions, promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and skill development, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants. The Coach collaborates with other staff, maintains communication with parents, and supports the academic and personal growth of students. Additional duties may include assisting with team selection, managing equipment, organizing events or competitions, and representing the program within the school and community. Position Assistant Coach Athletic or Activity Girls Swimming and Diving Rate of Pay $4,682 stipend for each Season Hours Per Day Variable Schedule (Approximately) Fall Sports Seasons Working Days per Year Seasonal - Based upon Activity Benefits Benefits for this position are limited due to the limited and variable nature of the role. Previous experience in coaching or playing the specific sport/activity, with a strong understanding of the rules, techniques, and strategies. ? Knowledge of safety protocols, injury prevention, and first aid, with a commitment to ensuring a safe environment for all participants. ? Must have a thorough understanding of MSHSL and District policies and expectations. ? Availability to attend practices, games, and other team-related events, including evenings and weekends as required.
