Director of Achievement Equity and Multilingual Learner Programming Location: District Office | Status: Exempt | Schedule: 12-month position | Reports to: Superintendent Position Summary: Edina Public Schools is seeking exceptional candidates with a proven record of success for a Director of Achievement Equity and Multilingual Learner Programming position. With the focus to support and advance the Edina Public Schools'' mission, vision and core values, the Director of Achievement Equity and Multilingual Learner Programming provides strategic leadership and expertise to advance district efforts that ensure equitable access, meaningful opportunities, and improved outcomes for historically underserved students. The Director leads and supports district-wide efforts to develop a culturally proficient school system (CPSS) and oversees the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of multilingual learner programming and key equity-focused initiatives. Responsibilities include leadership of the district''s Achievement and Integration Plan, Language Instruction Educational Program (LEIP), Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID), and American Indian Education Programs. The Director also advances district-wide initiatives that foster student and family engagement, equity, inclusion, belonging, and culturally responsive practices, while building the capacity of staff and systems to address opportunity and achievement gaps. A Minnesota Administrative License A minimum of five (5) years related experience are required. Minnesota English language learner teaching license preferred. Compensation & Benefits: Salary: The annual salary for this twelve-month position is $164,204. Benefits: Edina Public Schools provides eligible employees with an excellent comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as flexible spending plans. All employees participate in one of the state''s largest pension programs, the Teachers Retirement Association (TRA). In addition, employees can participate in the 403(b) retirement program, with eligibility for a district match based on the terms and conditions outlined in the employee work agreement.
