The District consists of five buildings, all situated on a single, cohesive campus and serves approximately 2,800 students - Early Education Building, Primary School (K-2), Intermediate School (3-5), Middle School (6-8), and High School (9-12). We are seeking an experienced and dependable Night Lead Custodian to oversee evening custodial operations and ensure the facility is clean, safe, and well-maintained. The Night Lead Custodian will provide leadership to custodial staff, assign and monitor daily cleaning duties, inspect completed work, and address maintenance or cleaning concerns as they arise. Required Qualifications: * Valid 2C Boiler License required by the end of the probationary period. * Previous custodial or building maintenance experience** required. * Prior lead or supervisory experience preferred. * Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and building operations. * Ability to work independently and lead a team during the night shift. * Dependable, organized, and able to respond to facility needs and emergencies. * Ability to perform physical duties associated with custodial work. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and supervise night custodial staff. * Assign daily tasks and ensure work is completed properly and on schedule. * Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility. * Operate and monitor building systems, including boiler equipment. * Conduct routine inspections and report maintenance or safety issues. * Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment. * Ensure all safety procedures and building policies are followed. * Assist with emergency or after-hours facility needs as necessary. Schedule: 2:30PM - 11:00 PM, with occasional flexibility required based on facility needs. Salary & Benefits: Union Scale (see attached contract), per experience.
