Position Type: Special Education Teacher Location: Kenyon-Wanamingo Public Schools Date Available: 12/01/2026 Closing Date: Open until filled. Kenyon-Wanamingo Middle School has an opening for a full-time (1.0 FTE) long term substitute Special Education Teacher effective December 1, 2026 through April 19, 2027. This position requires a teacher who enjoys working closely with other teachers, social workers, paraprofessionals, and administrators in a team friendly environment. A quality teacher in this position can manage student behavior utilizing proactive, positive interventions, and ensure due process rights of students. Requirements: Must hold a valid Minnesota teaching license. Special Education licensure preferred. Compensation: In accordance with the Teacher Master Agreement, Salary Schedules for each employee group are detailed in each master agreement found on the website at kw.k12.mn.us under menu/district/employee contracts. Long Term Sub positions are paid at BA, Step 1 level for factoring rate per day. BA, Step 1 = Annual Salary of $45,932 or $255.18 per day.
