Middle School Math Teacher, Long-term Substitute Bethlehem Academy is currently accepting applications for a dynamic, innovative, and energetic Long Term Substitute Teacher for Middle School Math for the remainder of the 2026-2027 school year. The position is 1.0 FTE. A Long-term substitute teacher will be tasked with teaching Math for 6, 7, and 8th grade students which includes Algebra I, Math 7 and Math 6. Additional instructional roles include advisory. BA is seeking a full-time Middle School Math teacher for the 27-28 school year and this position if successful could become permanent. The successful applicant will possess and display A clear love of working with teenagers to discover their God-given gifts A love of music and theater and making both accessible to teens Innovative and flexible program development skills A desire to continually grow as a teacher and member of a school community A desire to share music with the broad community during liturgies and other community events A positive attitude and a willingness to collaborate with others A desire to be part of a special community with deep roots and to contribute daily to that community. Qualifications: Strong communication skills with students, co-workers & parents Strong collaboration skills Possess a positive outlook Enjoys life and desires to share it with others Minimum Job Requirements: Bachelors degree in Elementary Education, Secondary Mathematics Education, or related degree.
