* Kindergarten Teacher Job Title: Kindergarten Teacher Location: Queen of Peace Catholic School Job Type: Full-Time Reports To: President, Principal, Vice-Principal Mission Statement: Queen of Peace Catholic School assists families in forming their children in the Catholic faith through a rigorous classical curriculum rooted in the Catholic intellectual tradition and the liturgical life of the Church. We are committed to nurturing the spiritual, academic, and emotional development of each child within a Christ-centered community. We seek a Kindergarten Teacher who will support our mission by fostering a faith-filled, loving, and academically enriching environment for our youngest learners. Position Summary: The Kindergarten Teacher is responsible for creating and implementing a developmentally appropriate, faith-integrated curriculum that supports the intellectual, emotional, spiritual, and physical growth of our Kindergarten students. The teacher will serve as a model of Catholic faith and values, create a safe and welcoming classroom environment, and work in close partnership with parents, faculty/staff, and the broader school community. Key Responsibilities: * Plan and deliver engaging lessons in phonics, writing, math, Catechism, science, art, and social studies aligned with diocesan and state standards, * Integrate Catholic teachings, prayers, and values into daily instruction and classroom culture, * Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where each child is respected and encouraged to grow, * Assess student progress regularly and use data to inform instruction and provide feedback to students and families, * Maintain open, consistent contact with parents through various forms of communication, conferences, and newsletters, * Collaborate with fellow teachers, support staff, and administration to support school-wide initiatives, * Participate in liturgies, school events, faculty meetings, and professional development, * Adhere to school and parish policies, diocesan regulations, and state educational standards Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education or a related field, or Catholic school teaching certificate * Commitment to the Catholic mission of Queen of Peace Catholic School * Practicing Catholic preferred Application Process: Qualified candidates should submit the following to Melissa Marti, Principal, at principal@queenofpeaceschool.org<mailto:principal@queenofpeaceschool.org> or drop off at the school office: * Cover Letter addressing interest in working at QPCS * Resume * Letters of Recommendation (minimum of 2) Queen of Peace Catholic School 102 4th Street.
