Date of Availability: 08/24/2026 North Metro Flex Academy is currently accepting applications for a Middle School Math Teacher position for the upcoming 2026-27 school year. The position start date is August 24th, 2026. Applicants must currently hold a valid Minnesota teaching license in math. We are a public charter school located in North St. Paul with a student enrollment of approximately 175 Students (K-8.) Responsibilities/Duties (Including but not limited to): Instructional Delivery: Plan and deliver rigorous, standards-based lessons in Mathematics. Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the Middle School team to align curriculum. Collaborate positively with colleagues, families, and support staff. Student Engagement: Utilize mathematical problem-solving strategies to encourage a diverse student body. Inquiry-Based Learning: Foster a classroom environment that encourages mathematical reasoning. Differentiated Instruction: Adapt materials to meet the needs of all students, including English-Language Learners (ELL) and students with IEPs. Use assessment data to guide instruction and monitor student progress. Communication: Maintain regular and effective positive communication with parents, students and staff regarding academic growth. Communicate effectively with parents regarding student achievement and growth. Technology Integration: Integrate digital tools into daily lesson plans to enhance quantitative literacy. Teach mathematics to students in grades 6?8 using the Minnesota Academic Standards and school/staff selected curriciulums. Participate in school events, professional development, and school improvement initiatives. Qualifications Applicants must hold or be eligible to obtain a Minnesota teaching license appropriate for middle school mathematics instruction. Strong mathematics content knowledge and a commitment to helping all students succeed. Experience working with multilingual learners is preferred but not required. Current Minnesota licensed Tier 3 or 4 teacher salary starts at $50,000. Additional benefits are also available for full-time employees, including medical and dental benefits and include coverage of employee, employee + 1 or family. Employee is responsible for a monthly insurance premium, depending on plan and coverage selected. Life Insurance/AD&D, along with Short-term and Long-term disability coverage, is provided.
