Willmar Public Schools is currently seeking applicants for the position of SOTA Coordinator (.5 FTE) and SOTA Navigator (.5 FTE).
The SOTA Program Coordinator manages the teacher apprenticeship program for Willmar Public Schools and SouthWest Minnesota State University. The SOTA Navigator directly coaches and mentors Teacher Apprentices in the successful understanding and completion of all SOTA program requirements. The Navigator provides the Teacher Apprentices with consistent opportunities to anticipate the needs of the SOTA program and to reflect on the apprentice experience. The Navigator will work collaboratively with the Teacher Apprentices’ SMSU advisor. The Navigator assists Teacher Apprentices in meeting all of the expectations and preparations needed for each phase of the Teacher Apprentices’ learning and training throughout their participation in the SOTA program.
