Job Summary: Lake Ripley Elementary seeks a Special Education Paraprofessional
Schedule: Generally 6-6.5 hours a day hours per day.
Qualifications: Successful completion of the ParaEducator test or a 2 or a 4 year degree
Essential Functions:
* To help the teacher(s) reinforce skills and strategies in all subject areas and improve student performance
* Inspire students to think creatively, critically, and innovatively
* Support students in the learning process through the use of 21st century skills such as innovation, creativity, communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, ethical decision-making, collaboration, teamwork, time management, empathy, and leadership
* Provide 1:1 assistance in academics, and offer behavioral, and vocational support.
* Accept direction from supervising teacher(s) and administrators.
Litchfield I.S.D. 465 is located 1 hour west of the Twin Cities Metro Area and is a member of the Wright County Conference. We are also a 1:1 Apple school with all students and teachers having Macbooks/iPads for educational purposes.
