Description
Bloomington Public Schools is accepting applications for Elementary Teacher openings throughout the district for the 2026-2027 school year.
We will review your qualifications and may contact you for an interview. Applicants who are interviewed and recommended as a teacher candidate may be considered for vacancies throughout the district as they occur.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current MN Elementary Teaching License K-6
The ideal candidate will:
- Foster a positive, engaging, and student-centered classroom environment where all learners feel valued, supported, and challenged.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of elementary instructional practices, child development, and evidence-based teaching strategies.
- Utilize student achievement data and ongoing assessment to differentiate instruction and drive academic growth.
- Build strong partnerships and relationships with students, families, and colleagues to support student success.
- Collaborate actively with colleagues and support staff to improve student achievement.
- Integrate technology purposefully to enhance learning, creativity, and student engagement.
- Maintain high expectations for academic achievement, behavior, and character development.
- Possess a commitment to continuous professional learning and reflective practice.
- Be dedicated to maximizing the academic, social, and emotional growth of every student while delivering Bloomington curriculum and standards to elementary students
