As an Educational Assistant, you will work with small groups of students with disabilities and support them through their individual journeys. Your role will be critical in fostering a learning environment that ensures students receive the attention and guidance they need to succeed. You will work a school-year schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 8 a.m.- 3:30 p.m.; Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7:30 a.m.- 3:30 p.m. We are committed to helping you find a career, not just a job! Cannon Valley Special Education Cooperative (CVSEC) is a collaborative of Faribault, Medford, Northfield, and Owatonna public schools. CVSEC staff are committed to implementing specialized programming that meets the social, emotional, and academic needs of all students. Cannon Valley Special Education Cooperative provides highly individualized learning experiences for students from kindergarten through age 22 who need more structure, support, and modifications than can be accommodated in the traditional academic setting. We believe wholeheartedly, that all students can be successful and productive learners when taught the tools to access their potential in our specialized program. CVSEC is seeking Special Education Educational Assistants for the 2023-2024 School Year Position Summary: CVSEC Educational Assistants are highly collaborative and possess strong problem-solving skills. CVSEC Educational Assistants are committed to preparing students to successfully learn and engage in their communities.
