Elementary Teacher (Special Education Focus)
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special educational needs? Our district is seeking dedicated educators to join our team in supporting special education students at the elementary level. We welcome applications from regular education licensed teachers who have a strong desire to work out of field with special education students.
Position Overview:
* Role: Elementary Teacher (Special Education Focus)
Responsibilities:
* Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities.
* Collaborate with special education staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
* Provide differentiated instruction to support students’ academic, social, and emotional growth.
* Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning for all students.
Qualifications:
* Valid [State] teaching license in elementary education (regular education).
* Desire and willingness to work with special education students, demonstrating patience, empathy, and a commitment to their success.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with colleagues, parents, and caregivers.
* Experience or coursework in special education (preferred but not required).
