Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and visionary Dean of Students K-8 to lead and inspire our student community from kindergarten through eighth grade. In this pivotal role, you will foster a positive learning environment, and promote student success across all grade levels. Your leadership will ensure that educational programs are innovative, inclusive, and aligned with our mission to empower young learners. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the educational experience of students while collaborating with staff, families, and community partners to cultivate a thriving school culture.
Responsibilities
- Support teaching staff by providing mentorship, and facilitating professional development opportunities.
- Oversee behavior staff and support Multi Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement policies that promote a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
- Manage behavioral staff recruitment, onboarding, and supervision while fostering a collaborative team atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Background in behavioral support or enrolled in an administration program.
- Proven experience in education administration or leadership roles within K-8 settings, including classroom teaching experience.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience supervising staff and managing teams effectively.
- Working knowledge of classroom practices, student engagement strategies, and education policies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field; advanced degrees or certifications in educational leadership are preferred.
