Position: Gr 5-12 Principal

Wabasso Public Schools is in search of a Secondary Principal for Grades 5-12 for the 2024-2025 school year. This position serves as the instructional leader for the appropriate level. Demonstrates leadership and administrative skills necessary to develop, achieve and maintain the best possible educational program for the students at Wabasso Public School.
Qualifications: Preferred Principal licensure from MN Department of Education
Essential Skills:
Ensures a safe and welcoming school environment that is conducive to learning
Effectively communicates with staff, students and parents regarding student learning
Supports students and staff in the educational process
Ensures the school runs efficiently and smoothly throughout the school year
Salary/Contract:
220-day contract per fiscal year
Beginning salary dependent upon education, qualifications, and experience
Insurance, paid sick and personal leave
TRA and 403B contributions
Wabasso is a rural community in Southwest Minnesota located 30 miles east of Marshall. Enrollment is 410 students from 5 local communities: Wanda, Seaforth, Lucan, Wabasso and Vesta. ISD 0640 has great community and parental support for education.
