The Austin Public School District is seeking to hire highly qualified teachers for the 2024 Summer School Program . To apply, please complete the online application, and list the dates you are available.
Summer school is scheduled on the following dates:
Week 1: June 10 - June 13
Week 2: June 17- June 20 (No school on June 19)
Week 3: June 24 - June 27
Week 4: July 1- July 2 (No school July 3rd and 4th)
Week 5: July 8 - July 11
Week 6: July 15 - July 18
The summer school program is designed to assist area students in grades 9-12 with credit recovery.
Working hours are Monday -Thursday from 8:30 AM - 1:00 PM on the days listed above.
Staff will work from an assigned classroom at the high school.
Staffing decisions are based on student enrollment and staff licensure area. The length of employment will depend on the number of students assigned to you. We will evaluate numbers at the end of each day. Teachers from inside and outside the district may apply. Staff will be notified if they are selected for a position by May 2024.
