The person in this position also serves as the district's Chief Negotiator, Data Compliance Official, Title IX Coordinator, and Human Rights Officer. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field and/or a Masters Degree in Educational Administration preferred, however, may be substituted for relevant experience. A minimum of five years of related administrative experience preferably in a Human Resources related field. Working knowledge of human resource related Federal and State laws and K-12 Minnesota Statutes. Knowledge of best practices regarding labor-management relations, conflict resolution, employee evaluations, progressive discipline, hiring and terminating, and benefits administration. Candidates should have excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate complex information to a culturally diverse cross-section of individuals and organizations; excellent organizational skills; demonstrated effective leadership skills; and strong short-term and long-term planning abilities focused on continuous improvement and innovation; should be supportive of community/parent involvement and should be able to network with community groups; should have an understanding of fiscal and ethical responsibility; and the ability to quickly achieve proficiency regarding use of various software programs.
