Description: Responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement strategic plans for special education programs in alignment with federal, state, and district regulations. 2. Lead and supervise special education staff, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities. 3. Coordinate the evaluation, identification, and placement of students with disabilities in appropriate special education services. 4. Monitor student progress, evaluate program effectiveness, and make data-informed decisions to improve outcomes for students. 5. Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure accommodations, modifications, and interventions are implemented effectively in the classroom. 6. Serve as a liaison between school staff, parents, and external agencies to support the needs of students with disabilities. 7. Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with parents, teachers, and support staff. 8. Ensure compliance with special education laws, regulations, and reporting requirements. 9. Advocate for the inclusion and acceptance of students with disabilities in school and community settings. 10. Stay current on best practices, research, and trends in special education to drive continuous improvement in programs and services. Qualifications: Qualifications: -Bachelors' degree in Special Education or related field (Masters preferred) - Valid state certification in Special Education Administration - Minimum of 3 years of experience in special education leadership roles - Strong knowledge of federal and state special education laws and regulations - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills - Ability to lead and motivate a team of special education professionals - Demonstrated experience in program development, implementation, and evaluation - Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in education About the School: HOPE Community Academy is an accredited, public co-educational charter school comprised of primary, intermediate, and middle school levels. Description:

Qualifications:
