Demonstrated experience and proficiency working with a culturally, ethnically, racially and socioeconomically diverse school community is preferred. 9. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Responsibilities: 1. Provide leadership in the areas of student attendance, academics and discipline with at-risk learners. 2. Provide leadership for the development, coordination and management of non-exclusionary disciplinary practices such as peer mediation, digital lessons targeted at skill development, and restorative practices. 3. Provide supervision of students for disciplinary purposes. 4. Provide individual student support for academic goal-setting and behavior modification. 5. Foster parent involvement in developing interventions for learners that include individual student learning contracts that establish achievement/behavior goals and action steps. 6. Provide leadership for the development and execution of school engagement activities including Back-to-School Open House, grade-level orientations and school-wide spirit events. 7. Provide leadership in the Student Services Center and Cafeteria as appropriate. 8. Supervise school-related evening activities and detention as assigned. 9. Provide a safe and secure learning environment for all students and staff. 10. Provide leadership to the coordination and administration of school-wide standardized testing. 11. Collaborate with school counselors, teachers and administrators as appropriate to support struggling learners. 12. Work alongside the leadership team to assess ABC (Attendance - Behavior - Course Work) data and alignmed to identified tiers of intervention associated with the building continuous improvement plan. 13.
