SouthWest Metro Intermediate District #288 has a full-time Speech Language Pathologist opening,beginning 8/21/2023 to provide district-wide support in the communities of Chaska, Montgomery, Lonsdale, and Le Center.

Speech Language Pathologist, 8 hours a day for 185 Contract Days.
Job Summary:
Providing speech and language therapy for students with special education services including speech, language, voice, fluency and communication impairments. The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide a complete array of services to students with identified communication problems, including students whose primary disability is “speech-language impairment” and students with primary disabilities who have needs in the area of communication (for example, students with autism, cognitive disabilities, or developmental delays).
Qualifications:
* Current MN Licensure in Pre K-12 Speech Language Pathologist,
* Masters Degree in Communication Disorders required
* ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (C's) or the ability to obtain.
* Experience working with school aged children.
* Ability to build successful relationships with students, parents and staff.
* Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with teams.
Pay & Benefits:
The starting pay is $43,610 per year and is based on education and experience. A competitive and comprehensive benefit package is also available.
