Job description Position: Charter School Float Teacher Details: Full-time, salaried with benefits, available immediately School: Partnership Academy Job Description: Partnership Academy has a strong commitment to culturally and developmentally relevant instruction for all students. Through a highly collaborative culture, Partnership Academy teachers work in teams to provide differentiated and hands-on instruction using a co-teaching model. Partnership Academy requires its teaching staff to constantly improve their instruction in ways that directly impact students&#8217; academic, linguistic, social, and emotional growth. The Float teacher will support a variety of classrooms to ensure smooth operations during staff absences. Unlike a traditional building sub role, the Float teacher will collaborate closely with educators and often work in a co-teaching situation. Through weekly professional development sessions, formal and informal observations, and frequent feedback, Partnership Academy educators are encouraged and motivated to constantly push themselves to perform at the highest standards. We are looking for a Float Teacher who can collaborate effectively to provide excellent instruction in all areas, as well as stay highly engaged with collaborative teaching and mentoring systems of support. Depending on the applicant&#8217;s preferences and experiences, they will work either exclusively with middle school (6th - 8th grades) or with the school overall (PreK - 8th grade).
