The salary range for this position is $17.29 &#8211; $19.79/hr. based on the 2021-2023 salary schedule between ISD #197 and SEIU Local #284. Hours: 7:30 AM - 2:00 PM (6 hours per day) (1/2 Unpaid Lunch) Job Summary: * Assist in forecasting daily meal needs and may request products accordingly from the Production kitchen. * Assist with preparing and serving meals for students, staff and special functions. * Effectively operate the Point of Sale System and able to handle money and prepare bank deposits effectively * Ensures that each reimbursable meal sold meets USDA requirements. * Performs a variety of kitchen cleaning duties. * Assist with setting up serving line and serves meals according to meal patterns. * Projects a positive & professional image of themselves, their school and the Child Nutrition Dept. to all customers, staff and parents.
