Goodhue Public Schools is seeking a (.5 FTE) Construction and Trade Teacher for 9-12 grade students for the 2024-2025 school year and beyond.
Qualification:
MN Teaching license in Construction and Trades and/or the ability to receive licensure. Other CTE licenses will be considered. The desired candidate must have the ability to teach construction and carpentry skills to high school students in a work site/construction environment with a focus on safety.
Position:
The focus of the position is to teach a Construction and Trade class directly related to the building of a house in partnership with Habitat for Humanity. The candidate would work with with high school students and the Habitat for Humanity project manager in providing skills in safety, estimation, carpentry, framing, flooring, and interior and exterior finishing.
