North Branch Community Education is looking for a Senior Adult Assistant to work in our School Age Care Program. This position is 12 months, full-time, 40 hours per week, with benefits. Work schedule could vary. The program is open from 5:45 am to 6:00 pm daily. This program has children ages 3 through 6th Grade. Job Summary: Provide a safe, stimulating, nurturing atmosphere for participants. Instruct a variety of academic discovery stations and social, recreational and cultural activities for children in School Age Care. Qualifications: High school degree and training or coursework in child development required; Minimum 2080 hours working with groups of children required; Minimum 100 hours scheduling programs desired Certifications: CPR/First Aid required; CPI, MN Childcare Certificate, and ParaPro Assessment Certificate desired Salary: $18.90 - $24.99 per hour, depending upon qualifications and experience Start Date: As Soon As Possible Application Deadline: Open Until Filled North Branch Area Public Schools is a growing district, enrolling approximately 2,700 students, and is located 40 minutes north of the Twin Cities on Interstate 35.
