Located in west-central Minnesota lakes area, Lakes Country Academy (LCA) provides specialized services to students who are referred by their resident school district. LCA provides an integrated approach where teachers and staff work collaboratively to teach academic and/or functional skills, workability/employability skills, and integrates social emotional learning, trauma-informed practices, and positive behavior regulation skills into day-to-day programming. Our team consists of highly trained professionals that are supported by administration, paraprofessionals, behavior specialists (BCBA and RBTs), a school psychologist, and a school social worker. Join a staff of experienced and dedicated professionals to experience a 2:1 staff to student ratio environment with ample opportunities to truly make a difference in the lives of our youth. MN teacher licensure in EBD and/or ASD is preferred. Experience working with students K-12 who experience challenging behaviors is preferred. Salary range starts at $49,500. Salary will be adjusted for years of experience as a special education teacher.
