JOB ID: 4213 – 1.0 FTE Pre K-12 Systems & Instructional Coach – Full-Time position with the district beginning 07/01/2024.
Scheduled days/hours: 8 Hours/day.
Qualifications Required:
BA or BS, MA with math content expertise preferred. Valid MN teaching license. Will complete a stretch calendar working 187 days within a 12 month period. Duties: The Pre-K-12 Systems and Instructional Coach provides teacher leadership and support for the purpose of enhancing student outcomes through quality teaching, assessment and implementation of the Northfield School District Pre K-12 pedagogy and instructional programs. This position is a fixed-term position of up to four consecutive years. After completion of the term, coaches will return to a position for which they are licensed within the district.
Duties:
Facilitate and support PreK-12 curriculum implementation and review with a focus on vertical and state standards alignment.
Build knowledge of best instructional practices and facilitate training of staff in differentiated instructional approaches to meet learner needs in all curricular areas.
Collaborate with other district services and building staff to ensure consistency of program implementation and standardized testing.
Participate in district and community committees and other duties as assigned.
Deadline: 3/15/2024 (03/8/2024) -- EOE -- Employment is contingent upon completion of a background check.
