Job Summary: Assist in the coordination of all on-site aspects of summer camp to ensure the delivery of a high-quality camp experience. Maintain a safe and positive camp environment for participants and staff. Experience/Skills: * Knowledge of classroom instructional interventions and behavioral management techniques * Strong customer service skills * Ability to maintain confidentiality * Ability to work as a team * Current First Aid and CPR preferred Responsibilities: * Greet parents/guardians, answer questions and give directions to camp. * Assist in the supervision and work actively with camp staff, instructors to ensure high-quality programs are delivered to participants. * Supervise and facilitate camper movement throughout the day, including drop-off and pick-up hours, as well as Lunch Link. * Ensure facilities and classrooms are set-up and ready for the camp activities. * Work with Community Education Youth Enrichment Coordinator to communicate with parents/guardians regarding aspects of summer programming. * Promptly complete and submit required reports to Community Education, as needed. * Be vigilant and alert to potentially unsafe situations and notify custodian of unsafe conditions; stop any unsafe or questionable activities. * Perform other duties as assigned. * Oversee and assist with the Lunch Link program, emphasizing a safe and respectful environment. Qualifications: HS/GED Required Working Conditions: Classroom, lifting up to 50 pounds, pulling, standing, sitting Application Procedure: You must be a permanent employee of the district to use the internal application.
