Description: Candidates for the Child Care Educator will provide care to toddlers and preschoolers at East Creek Family Center in Chaska, MN. Duties Include lesson planning/facilitation, record-keeping, positive/professional communication, meal portioning & service, developmental assessment, and supervise for safety. Child Care Educator: 4 hours or 8 hours (split shift) a day for 185 Contract Days. Hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and/or 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Pay & Benefits: Starting pay is $18.85 per hour, with the opportunity to earn up to $4.80 more per hour when completing continuing education. Benefits are available beginning the first of the month following the date of hire. Job Summary: Provide support by working directly with students to increase their academic, social/behavioral, communication, and study skills under the direction of the teacher(s).
