Forest School Assistant Educator and Literacy/Math Small Group Support Forest School assistant educators collaborate with a team of inspiring and innovative colleagues who aim to create the most effective, research-based learning environments for growing students&#8217; physical, social, cognitive, linguistic, emotional, and spiritual selves. Assistant educators work with large and small groups of mixed-aged students, as well as working with students individually to support learning, build community, and create connections among students and nature. In addition to assisting lead educators in facilitating crew curriculum, the assistant teacher works with small groups of students during math and literacy time. These specialist times require lesson planning and execution of literacy and math skills. During most school days, Forest School assistant educators will be on campus from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm.
