Change Inc. utilizes the power of relationships and community to create educational, training and healing opportunities for children, youth, young adults and families so that they can achieve their highest ambition. We provide services for children and families in the Twin Cities through GAP School (state approved alternative high school), the Community & School Collaborative, and Change Institute. Essential Responsibilities: &#183; Plan, implement, evaluate courses; &#183; Teach 4 hours daily &#8211; may teach out of licensed subject area; &#183; Develop curriculum map, syllabi, and lesson plans linked to standards; &#183; Advise students in context of career and college readiness; &#183; Differentiate instruction and make 1:1 and small group additional assistance available; &#183; Link academic instruction with career pathways; &#183; Provide English Language Learners and students on Individualized Educational Plans with additional supports and accommodations; &#183; Conference with students at Mid-Quarter and Quarter Negotiation Days; &#183; Manage administrative tasks effectively; Other Responsibilities: &#183; Collaborate and cooperate with colleagues; &#183; Work effectively with team members; &#183; Work effectively independently; &#183; Create positive, respectful work climate; &#183; Solve problems; &#183; Demonstrate high professional standards and work ethic; &#183; Engage in your own growth and development; &#183; Go the extra mile to help others and to build community; &#183; Be an ambassador for Change Inc. and for our mission.
