Job Summary The Department of Corrections is seeking a Special Education Teacher for our Red Wing Facility! This position will plan and provide for appropriate learning experiences for students with disabilities in a variety of educational settings; create a flexible program and learning environment that provides specialized instruction for students with disabilities, such that the students benefit from the general education curriculum to the greatest extent possible when supported with supplemental aides, accommodations, and other needed supports; and serve as the special education case manager for an assigned case load, ensuring that due process procedures and timelines comply with federal and state regulations, as directed by the DOC Director of Special Education Minimum Qualifications To be qualified for and considered for this position, applicants must meet all of the minimum qualifications listed below.
